genU is looking for Overnight Sleep - Support Worker who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and group engagement.
n

These are overnight sleep rosters of 7 shifts @ ***** hrs per fortnight. Please review the roster included before applying.

Support person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and working to achieve them;
n
Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration;
n
Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
n
Administration duties and mandatory reporting
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans;
n
Experience working with challenging behaviours - desirable;
n
An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
n
Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
n
Previous experience with medication administration;




n
Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience;
n
Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher (or working towards one) is desirable;
n
A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
