RSL Queensland is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation delivering cutting-edge programs and initiatives that support veterans and their families.
n The Wellbeing Practitioner focuses on building therapeutic relationships with veterans and their family by partnering them with local agencies, health practitioners, Government departments, and other ex-service organisations.
n Our multi-disciplined Wellbeing team also plays an active role in supporting its local community by promoting our services and building important relationships with other community members.
n You will be responsible for:

Working with veterans and their families within our homelessness and financial hardship programs.
n
Assessing clients and preparing case management plans that support an outcomes-based approach to veteran wellbeing.
n
Conducting home and hospital visits to veterans to ensure they receive emotional support, counselling or other assistance are required, and more...

To be competitive for this opportunity, you'll bring:
n
n
completed Degree qualification in Humanities/Arts (Social Welfare) or Health Sciences or Social Science or similar, along with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a relevant position
n
Extensive knowledge and experience in Strength-based Case Management
n
Aptitude for and interest in completing your ATDP or MILADW001 in Welfare
n
Demonstrated proficiency in planning and managing client workloads across highly sensitive environments and situations.
n
Superior communication and interpersonal skills to rapidly build rapport and trust.
n
n
