Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisors, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient servicing, maintenance, and repair of underground mobile equipment, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Work in line with Redpath's "Safety – First, Last and Always" philosophy
n
Attend and actively participate in pre-starts and safety meetings
n
Complete pre-start checks, hazard reporting, and WPI inspections
n
Conduct risk assessments and follow all safety procedures
n
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
n
Report all hazards, incidents, and equipment defects
n
n
Maintenance & Operations
n
n
Perform scheduled servicing and repairs on underground equipment
n
Identify and elevate potential equipment issues proactively
n
Execute maintenance tasks efficiently and to a high standard
n




Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
n
Support trades and operations teams as required
n
n
Planning & Performance
n
n
Ensure materials and parts are ordered correctly and on time
n
Complete all work orders and documentation accurately
n
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
n
Meet KPI expectations around safety, quality, and productivity
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter (Mechanical Trade Certificate)
n
Minimum 2 years underground mining experience
n
Strong knowledge of underground mobile equipment maintenance
n
Current WA Driver's Licence (C Class) (MR highly regarded)
n
Valid First Aid & CPR and Working at Heights
n
Ability to operate underground equipment for maintenance purposes
n
Solid understanding of:n

Isolation & tagging procedures
n
Hazard & incident reporting
n
Safe lifting and housekeeping practices
n
Emergency response & mine site protocols
n
