About the role
n
We are looking for an all rounder Food Services and Cafe Assistant who are passionate about caring for aging Victorians and can communicate well within a team.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Assist in preparing meals for residents
n
Stack, wash, dry dishes
n
Deliver food & beverages to residents
n
Meet all required infection control requirements
n
Serving customers from the community as well as the residents
n
n
About you
n




Someone who has previous experience in the aged care industry (desirable), are kind, genuine and caring individual who is committed to providing a consistent, professional, and effective level of service. You are also respectful and passionate about caring for older people.
n
You are an upbeat and positive person, who can clearly communicate, and build genuine relationships with Residents, members of the community, the team and other staff and ensure a high level of dignity is maintained.

Qualifications
n
To be considered for this role, the following relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and qualifications is desirable:
n
n
Certificate II or higher in Hospitality/Food & Beverage
n
Protected Food Handling Training and/or knowledge
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise
n
Ability to make decisions and solve problems within authority
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
