Job Description
Office Administration Officer – Maternity Leave Cover
n Part-Time | 20 Hours per Week

Our client is seeking an experienced Office Administration Officer to join their manufacturing team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) to provide maternity leave cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administrator with experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys supporting production, purchasing, and operational teams.

About the Role
n
Working closely with the Production, Purchasing and Operations teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of manufacturing processes. The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate production administration, including updating routings, production planning reports, work orders, travellers, transfer orders, production schedules, and maintaining ERP system accuracy.
n
Manage purchasing activities by creating and receiving purchase orders, monitoring outstanding parts, ordering production materials, and maintaining supplier information using GTMS and ERP systems.
n
Support manufacturing operations by creating and releasing work orders,
checking assembly requirements, monitoring stock levels, processing transfer orders, and ensuring production documentation is complete.
n
Maintain payroll spreadsheets, timesheets, MyPay records, production reports, and complete monthly and end-of-month administrative reporting.
n
Ensure compliance and general office administration by maintaining safety documentation, inspections, maintenance records, calibration schedules, consumables reporting, filing, scanning, and supporting continuous improvement activities.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous administration experience within a manufacturing environment (essential).
n
Experience using ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
n
Experience with GTMS or similar manufacturing software.
n
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets and reports.
n
Experience processing purchase orders and supporting purchasing functions.
n
Experience maintaining payroll spreadsheets, timesheets, or payroll administration.
n
Excellent organisational skills, robust attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
