About the Role
n
This is a casual role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Work will be offered on an as-needed basis. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our buildings, gardens and grounds, helping to create safe and comfortable environments for older people in our care.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
General building maintenance including minor repairs, painting, replacing fixtures and emergency repairs
n
Grounds and garden maintenance including mowing, pruning, irrigation and garden bed care
n
Operating and maintaining tools, mowers, vehicles and horticultural equipment
n
Preventative and reactive maintenance across sites
n
Support deliveries, stock,



waste and basic warehouse duties.

About You
n
You are practical, dependable and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You take pride in keeping environments clean, protected and well-presented and have a genuine respect for older people.
n
You will have:
n
n
Experience in general maintenance, gardening, groundskeeping, landscaping or similar hands on role
n
Practicable skills and confidence in using tools, mowers, and gardening equipment
n
The ability to undertake physical work both indoors and outdoors
n
A strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
n
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A respectful, caring and professional approach when working around older people
n
n
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check and current influenza vaccination.
