Job Description
Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer or HVAC Drafter to join their team supporting diverse and significant projects in Canberra, NSW. This 12-month casual assignment offers the opportunity to work within a highly professional environment contributing to complex mechanical services and HVAC design and drafting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Support design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical services projects.
n
Produce and review detailed mechanical/HVAC drawings and technical documentation.
n
Develop and maintain Revit models and coordinate designs using Navisworks.
n
Assist design coordination across multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
n
Review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with standards.
n
Support project phases from design through construction and refurbishment stages.
n
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
n
Maintain a strong focus on delivering accurate,



high-quality work within project timelines.
n
Active NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
n
Current residence in Canberra, ACT.
n
Background in mechanical engineering within building services (HVAC) OR HVAC/mechanical drafting experience with strong skills in Revit and Navisworks.
n
Demonstrated technical understanding of mechanical services and HVAC systems.
n
Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
n
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality outputs.
n
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Team player with ability to work collaboratively across project-focused environments.
n
