Job Description
O'Neil Transport is a successful, regionally based transport business. Our fleet of heavy commercial vehiclesare serviced and maintained by a team of diesel mechanics in our well set out and modern facility.

The fleet consists mainly of Kenworth and Isuzu plant and BPW Trailer equipment.
n
Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic; workshop experience desirable
n
Skills/Experience
n
n
Experience in the service & repair of heavy transport equipment
n
Diagnostic skills experience would be an advantage
n
Experience in both Cat and Cummins is preferable but not essential
n
n
The Role
n
n
You will be efficient and capable of prioritizing both routine and unexpected jobs
n
Maintenance of a modern fleet of Kenworth trucks and Isuzu rigids
n
Service of Trailer equipment with BPW suspension and axles.
n
You will need to sign off on work for roadworthiness as being completed & safe
n




You will actively contribute to ensuring that all workplace safety policies & procedures are maintained and followed at all times
n

You are experienced in the service & repair of heavy haulage equipment or mobile plant
n
You are committed to ensuring a safe workplace
n
You are well organized
n
You are able to troubleshoot and resolve issues
n
You are a quick worker and can deliver on time and look beyond a 'quick fix'
n
You have a keen eye for detecting issues and repair needs before they become problematic
n
