We're partnering with a major government organisation based in Parramatta to find an experienced Senior Employee Communications Advisor, with a focus on supporting a key internal project.

About The Role
n
You'll develop and deliver strategic employee communication plans, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to promote the organisation's culture, manage issues, and support major internal initiatives. You'll play a key role in crisis and issues communication, employee engagement strategy, and internal event delivery.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the development and delivery of employee communication and engagement strategies
n
Develop and implement group communication strategies for major internal projects, including messaging, Q&A; and engagement plans
n




Provide crisis communication support across multiple stakeholders
n
Collaborate with and influence senior leaders to adopt effective employee engagement approaches
n
Support delivery of employee events including roadshows, briefings and presentations
n
Provide mentoring and technical advice to team members
n
n
About You
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior employee communications, strategic communications, or corporate affairs advisor within a large corporation, government department or agency
n
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering proactive communication and engagement plans
n
Strong experience in crisis communication and emergency management communications
n
Ability to work independently across fast-moving projects with significant stakeholder engagement
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Proficiency with core comms tools (MS Office, SharePoint, MS Forms, PowerPoint)
n
Experience within construction or utilities sectors highly regarded, though not essential
