An chance has presented itself for Qualified Locomotive Drivers to join the team at our Sydney Freight Terminal in Chullora.
n
What You'll Do
n
As a Mainline Locomotive Driver, you'll play a key role in delivering freight safely and on time.
n
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:
n
n
Operate Pacific National locomotives in compliance with safe working regulations and driver accreditation requirements.
n
Liaise with Train Control to ensure efficient train operations and schedule adherence.
n
Prepare and provision locomotives, including system checks and compliance documentation.
n
Perform minor maintenance and first-level servicing activities.
n
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to meet operational needs.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n




Accredited and fully qualified Locomotive Driver (please attach your Certificate IV in Train Driving during the application process).
n
Proven locomotive driving experience.
n
High regard for safety and compliance.
n
Positive, team-focused attitude with ability to work autonomously.
n
Basic computer literacy.
n
Current full motor vehicle licence.
n
Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including local and barracks work.
n
