Full-time role in Katherine, with structured onboarding, on-the-ground mentoring, and travel alongside experienced team members

Competitive salary circa $80,000–$95,000 + 12% super + 6 weeks annual leave + relocation support

More Than a Project Officer Role
n
Support Aboriginal community members experiencing or at risk of homelessness to find safe accommodation, return home, and maintain healthy, secure tenancies across Katherine and remote communities.
n
Your Impact
n
n
Provide case management and culturally safe support to clients experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
n
Coordinate secure temporary accommodation and transport for clients returning to their home communities.
n
Conduct Healthy Homes audits and educate clients on healthy home practices.
n
Support clients to access welfare payments, financial support, and resolve tenancy issues.
n
Build strong relationships with local services, accommodation providers, and government agencies.
n

Let's Talk About You
n

Experience working with Aboriginal people in the housing or social services sector.
n
Strong communication, community engagement, and relationship-building skills.
n
Ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and travel to remote communities.
n
Current or obtainable NT Driver's Licence, Working with Children Clearance, and Criminal History Check.
n
Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or Aboriginal Health (highly valued).
