Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a national employment program led by Endeavour Foundation that empowers people with intellectual disability to prepare for, gain and sustain meaningful open employment. It focuses on person-centred support, employer engagement, and creating lasting inclusion in the workforce.

As a Career & Workplace Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping people with intellectual disability maintain sustainable employment by providing tailored post-placement support and partnering with employers to create inclusive, thriving workplaces.
n
You'll work closely with both job seekers and employers to design and deliver solutions that reduce turnover, improve retention, and support successful long-term employment outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Provide tailored support to job seekers and employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes.
n
Identify and implement interventions that reduce employment risks and enhance inclusion.
n
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to promote long-term partnerships.
n
Coordinate diversity training and customised employment solutions where needed.
n
Monitor progress, document support activities, and meet key performance milestones.
n

What You'll Bring:
n




Experience supporting people with intellectual disability in employment, education, or community services.
n
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Proven ability to deliver customer-centric, outcome-focused support.
n
Commercial acumen and understanding of workforce planning and diversity initiatives.
n
Qualifications or experience in employment services, training, or community development (highly desirable).
n
