Qualified Mechanic / 4WD Accessory Fitter

Looking for something more interesting than routine servicing?

Join an established Ballina 4WD workshop working across mechanical servicing, 4WD accessory fitting and custom builds. You'll be part of a well-equipped workshop with a friendly, supportive team and management that values and appreciates its staff.

If you already have 4WD accessory fitting or 12-volt electrical experience, even better - but your mechanical qualification, reliability and quality of workmanship are what matter most to us.

What you'll be doing
n
You'll work on a variety of 4WDs and builds, including:
n
n
Mechanical servicing and related workshop work
n
Fitting 4WD accessories and upgrades
n
Suspension and underbody components
n
Bull bars, tow bars, roof racks and touring accessories
n
12V accessories and electrical work where your experience allows
n
Custom 4WD builds and fit-outs
n
Diagnosing problems and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
n
n
What we're looking for
n
You'll need to be:
n
n
A qualified light vehicle mechanic
n
Experienced and confident working independently
n
Reliable and someone the team can depend on
n
Careful, with strong attention to detail
n
Proud of the quality of your work
n
Willing to learn new products, systems and fitting techniques
n
Works well with others and enjoys being part of a good team.
n
n
4WD accessory fitting experience is highly regarded.
n




12V electrical experience is also highly regarded, but not essential.
n
Most importantly, we are looking for a good mechanic with the right attitude who takes pride in their work and wants to broaden their skills.
n
