Family Doctors Plus Windsor is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and clinically confident Registered Nurse to join our busy and supportive general practice team.
n
We are a well-established, patient-focused practice with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to our local community. Our nursing team plays an integral role in the day-to-day clinical care of our patients, and we are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on and working collaboratively with our GPs and wider practice team.

About the Role
n
This is a varied and hands-on GP nursing position where you will have the prospect to use and develop a broad range of clinical skills.
n
Your day may include:
n
n
Patient assessment and clinical triage
n
Vaccinations and immunisations
n
Medication administration and treatments
n
Wound care and dressings
n
ECGs
n
Spirometry and audiometry
n
Assisting with minor procedures and surgical procedures
n
Health assessments and preventative health care
n
Patient education and health promotion
n
Chronic disease management support
n
Treatment room duties and clinical stock management
n
Working closely with our GPs to provide coordinated patient care
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n




A Registered Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
n
Experienced in general practice, primary care or a similar clinical environment
n
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
n
Clinically competent and comfortable in a busy environment
n
Friendly, approachable and patient-focused
n
Well organised with excellent communication skills
n
Proactive and willing to contribute to the wider nursing team
n
Committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care and documentation
n
n
Experience in Best Practice software is desirable, but not essential.
n
Pre-employment medical experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
n
