This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Developer to work on a up-to-date Microsoft technology stack, delivering high-quality technical solutions that support business-critical operations across a complex enterprise setting.

About the Role
n
As a Senior D365 Finance & Operations Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customising, integrating, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You'll work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
n
This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while contributing to the continuous improvement of an enterprise ERP platform.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
n
Develop customisations and extensions using X++ and Microsoft best practices.
n
Build and support integrations using OData, REST APIs, Business Events, Custom Services, and the Data Management Framework (DMF).
n
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
n
Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
n
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.
n
Support application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
n




Produce technical documentation and contribute to development standards and best practices.
n
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative Agile delivery environment.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
n
n
Strong commercial experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
n
Advanced knowledge of X++, extensions, customisations, and D365 development best practices.
n
Experience with integrations using OData, REST APIs, Business Events, DMF, and Custom Services.
n
Experience working with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Git, and CI/CD practices.
n
Strong understanding of SQL Server, SSRS, Electronic Reporting, and enterprise application integrations.
n
Exposure to the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse) and its integration with D365 Finance & Operations.
n
Experience using GitHub for source control and collaboration is highly desirable.
n
Experience with Microsoft Copilot (including Copilot for Dynamics 365 and AI-assisted development tools) is highly desirable.
n
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
n
Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments will be highly regarded.
