Workfast is currently looking for a HR truck driver to join our Waste Management team located in Townsville, QLD.

We are currently working on behalf of a well-recognised and reputable Waste Management company that operates nationally. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers for long-term work in Townsville, QLD.
n

Job Responsibilities
n
n
Operating Heavy Rigid trucks, including front and rear lift loaders
n
Early morning starts between 5:00am - 6:00am
n
Safely operate HR waste collection vehicles
n




Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any defects
n
Collect and transport recyclable materials efficiently
n
Comply with all safety, fatigue management, and road regulations
n
Maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams
n
Some manual handling required when servicing tighter access locations
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Valid HR Driver's Licence (minimum)
n
3-4 years' experience as a truck driver
n
Experience operating front lift and/or rear lift trucks (highly regarded)
n
Previous experience within the waste management industry (preferred)
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, if required
n
Own reliable transport
