TheGraphQL(GQL) Developer is responsiblefor designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting scalable API andintegration solutions usingGraphQLand Java technologies. The rolewill work closely with application, platform, cloud, and architecture teams todeliver secure, high-performing, and reusable services that enable
digitalmodernization
and cloud-native application development across the portfolio.

This positionwill contribute to the development of contemporary microservices-based architectures,API governance, integration patterns, and continuous improvement initiativeswhile supporting operational excellence within a managed services environment.
n
n
Design, develop,
andmaintainGraphQLAPIs
and Java-based backend services.
n
Build reusable,scalable, and
secureGraphQLschemas,
resolvers, and data accesslayers.
n
Develop
RESTandGraphQLintegrations
with enterprise
applications,databases,
and external systems.
n
Implementmicroservices
using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native
developmentpatterns.
n
Optimize API performance,query execution, caching, and payload efficiency.
n
Ensure adherence toAPI security standards including authentication, authorization, and dataprotection.
n




Participate inapplication modernization initiatives including
microservicestransformation
and cloud adoption.
n
Collaborate withCloud, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams to implement
scalableintegration
solutions.
n
Supportapplicationonboardingonto
cloud platforms and containerized environments.
n
Assist in
designingintegration
patterns and reusable service frameworks.
n
Support SLA-drivenproduction environments and participate
inincident,problem,and
change management activities.
n
Perform root causeanalysis and remediation of application and integration issues.
n
Monitor
applicationperformance
and implement proactive improvement
n
Contribute toarchitecture reviews, technical governance, and development standards.
n
Maintain
developmentrunbooks,
operational procedures, and support documentation.
n
Define and maintaincloud architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, anddesign patterns across the portfolio.
n
Develop
cloudtransformation
and modernization roadmaps aligned to business andtechnology strategy
n
Lead
solutionarchitecture
reviews and provide governance for cloud
implementationsacross
projects and programs.
n
Design and govern AWSinfrastructure and platform services including EKS, EC2, VPC, Route53,Transit Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, and related services.
n
Establish secure cloudarchitecture patterns incorporating Identity and Access Management (IAM),encryption, secrets management, network segmentation,



and security bestpractices.
n
Drive
applicationmodernization
initiatives including containerization, cloud-native
architectures,microservicesadoption,
and serverless computing.
n
Collaborate with CyberSecurity teams to ensure compliance with enterprise, government, andregulatory requirements.
n
Identify technologyrisks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities, and
establishremediation
roadmaps
n

Yourresponsibilities
will also include gathering system and user
requirements,building
modules and testing features before release. You must havehands-on experience
developing,deploying,and
maintainingfunctional,
secure and high-quality applications. To be successful in this roleyou willhave:

Experience working inSLA-driven / managed services (BAU) environments with incident, problem,and change management practices.
n
Strong hands-onexperience inJava, Spring Boot,GraphQL, and REST APIdevelopment.
n
Expertise
inGraphQLschemadesign,
resolvers, queries, mutations, and API security.
n
Experience buildingand
supportingmicroservicesand
integrating
enterpriseapplications.
n
Knowledge ofAWS,Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development practices.
n
Familiarity
withCI/CDpipelines,
Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
n
Strong SQL anddatabase experience (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
n
Experience withmonitoring and observability tools such asDynatrace, Grafana,ELK, or CloudWatch.
n
Excellentcommunication,
analytical, and problem-solving skills.
n
Experience creatingtechnical designs, API specifications, use cases, and
knowledgerepositories.
