Insurance Supervisor & Estimator

Your new company Hays has partnered with a well-established insurance repair and restoration contractor delivering residential repair projects across South East Queensland. With a strong pipeline of insurance work secured through leading insurers and loss adjusters, this business continues to experience sustained growth and is now seeking an experienced Insurance Estimator / Supervisor to join their Brisbane team.

Working in a hybrid capacity, you will be responsible for both estimating and supervising insurance rectification projects from assessment through to completion.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed repair scopes.
n
Producing accurate estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
n
Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, brokers and homeowners.
n
Coordinating subcontractors and trades throughout project delivery.
n
Managing multiple projects simultaneously across residential and commercial assets.
n
Monitoring project budgets, timelines and quality standards.
n
Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and QBCC regulations.
n
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the claims and repair process.
n

What you'll need to succeed:
n
n
Previous experience in insurance building, restoration or remedial construction.
n
Strong estimating experience with the ability to prepare detailed repair scopes and costings.
n
Site supervision or project delivery experience within insurance repairs, maintenance or residential construction.
n
Sound understanding of building codes, construction methods and insurance claim processes.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
QBCC Supervisor Licence or Builder Licence required.
n
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
n
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
n
