Sub-Contract Hv Electricians - Mobile Plant

HauLec is a specialist electrical service provider operating in the NSW coalfields. We supply labour, technical support and parts to customers in the Hunter Valley, Gunnedah & Mudgee regions. We specialise in the service and support of Electric drive mobile equipment and are passionate about the work we do.

Qualifications & requirements
n
n
Cert 3 electro-technology - Electrician & certificate of proficiency.
n
Electrical Contractors Licence.
n
5 year + experience on electrical drive mining equipment.
n
Strong breakdown experience in a mining setting.
n
Mine spec 4x4 ute (Short term lease available)
n
HV Switching ticket.
n
Current order 45 coal board medical.
n
CMI insurance policy.
n
20 million public liability insurance.
n
First aid/CPR/Low voltage rescue.
n
High risk work licences (Preferred)
n
Must have right to work in Australia, visa positions are not available.
n

Tasks & responsibilities
n
n
Maintenance & breakdown works on High Voltage mining equipment, including but not limited to Komatsu, Hitachi, Letourneau, Liebherr, Unit Rig, caterpillar.
n
Maintenance of mining support equipment such as 2-ways, collision avoidance systems, fleet
management/dispatch
systems.
n
Air conditioning servicing and repairs.
n
Compile service reports & interact with customers.
n
Willingness to work away from home when required.
n
Ability to work safely & efficiently in breakdown situations.
n
Maintain safety standards at all times including: Adhering to site PPE requirements - Completing take 5's - Completing JSA's for complex tasks - Reporting & rectifying workplace hazards.
