About the Company

Our client is a leading healthcare organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their established payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is confident managing complex payroll requirements.
n
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant end-to-end payroll while working across a diverse workforce with complex Awards and EBAs.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Process high-volume end-to-end payroll within a large and complex workforce.
n
Process new starters, terminations, leave, allowances, deductions and payroll adjustments.
n
Interpret and apply relevant Awards, EBAs and employment conditions.
n
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in line with legislation and compliance requirements.
n
Respond to complex payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
n
Complete payroll reconciliations,



reporting and payroll checks.
n
Maintain accurate employee and payroll records within UKG.
n
n
Skills and Experience
n
n
Previous end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation.
n
Strong experience using UKG or a similar enterprise payroll system.
n
Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, EBAs and superannuation.
n
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
n
Positive Excel skills and confidence working with payroll reporting and reconciliations.
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
n
Healthcare or other complex, multi-site payroll experience would be highly regarded.
