Your Duties May Include
n
n
Planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
n
Installation, modification and repair of plumbing fixtures
n
Water supply and drainage repairs
n




Installation and repair of toilets, sinks, showers and sanitary systems
n
Installation and maintenance of hot water systems and appliances
n
Testing plumbing systems and identifying leaks and faults
n
Troubleshooting and completing repairs or replacement of damaged components
n
Emergency maintenance and repairs
n
Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
n
Planning works and determining required materials and equipment
n
Liaising with clients, contractors and project managers
n
Coordinating plumbing assistants or trainees when required
n
Assisting with estimates, materials and procurement
n
Maintaining accurate timesheets and records of completed works.
n
n
The role combines plumbing maintenance, minor construction works, fault finding, emergency repairs and client liaison.
n
To Be Successful, You Will Have
n

Completed plumbing trade qualification
n
Current plumbing licence
n
Demonstrated plumbing maintenance and repair experience
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to plan and manage your own workload
n
Strong safety focus
n
Construction Industry White Card
n
Asbestos awareness training
n




Silica awareness training
n
Current driver's licence
n
Working with Vulnerable People clearance
n
Ability to qualify for Defence site access, including a police check
n
Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical screening, including physical, hearing and drug and alcohol testing
n
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
