As a Senior Accountant, you will deliver high‐quality accounting, taxation and advisory services across a diverse client base. You will play a key role in reviewing work, supporting junior team members and assisting Managers and Directors on more complex business services matters, while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

Client service & advisory
n
Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT and other compliance obligations
n
Assist with business advisory services including structuring, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and succession planning
n
Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide clear, practical accounting and tax advice
n
Build strong, trusted client relationships and deliver a high standard of client service
n
Technical & compliance
n
Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, ATO requirements and relevant taxation legislation
n
Conduct technical research and assist with complex tax and accounting matters
n
Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of taxation law,



accounting standards and industry developments
n
Identify risk areas and ensure work is completed accurately and to a high professional standard
n
Team support & practice contribution
n
Supervise, review and provide feedback on work completed by intermediate and junior accountants
n
Support training, mentoring and professional development of team members
n
Assist Managers and Directors with workflow management, client engagements and special projects
n
Contribute to process improvements, quality assurance standards and practice growth initiatives
n
About you
n
You will have:
n
CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
n
Significant experience in public practice accounting
n
Strong technical knowledge of tax, accounting and compliance
n
Proven experience preparing and reviewing complex financial statements and tax returns
n
Solid communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
n
Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
n
A proactive, collaborative and solutions‐focused approach
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
