We are seeking an experienced Cyber Business Analyst (Cyber BA) on an initial 6-month contract basis to join their team in Bella Vista. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining onsite presence with flexible work from home. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting cyber security initiatives through effective business analysis, agile delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

This is a hybrid role based in Bella Vista, NSW, offering a blend of onsite and remote work flexibility to support team collaboration and personal productivity.

Key Responsibilities
n
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
n
n
Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements related to cyber security initiatives.
n
Translate complex cyber and security concepts into clear, structured requirements and user stories.
n
Produce essential artefacts including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
n
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to ensure alignment and clarity.
n
n
Cyber Security Project Support
n
n
Support Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Operations Centre (SOC), Cyber Data, and risk/compliance initiatives.
n
Assist with impact assessments,



control mapping, and remediation tracking.
n
Collaborate closely with security architects, engineers, and risk teams to deliver effective solutions.
n
n
Agile Delivery & Scrum Execution
n
n
Drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
n
Manage the backlog in Jira encompassing epics, user stories, and tasks.
n
Support prioritisation efforts alongside relevant stakeholders to ensure business value delivery.
n
n
Stakeholder Management
n
n
Engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
n
Provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.
n
Serve as the liaison between cyber teams and business units to foster collaboration.
n
n
Required Qualifications and Skills
n
n
Proven experience as an enterprise Business Analyst with strong skills in requirements gathering and documentation.
n
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
n
Experience working on cyber or information security projects.
n
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
n
Proficiency in Jira for backlog management and Confluence for documentation.
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Experience working in large enterprise or highly regulated environments.
n
Exposure to cyber transformation projects.
n
Relevant certifications such as Business Analyst credentials, Agile, or Cyber Security certifications.
