APMG Services is a rapidly growing property maintenance and multi-trade services business operating across Melbourne. We support clients across Childcare, Aged Care, Commercial, Council, Residential and Education sectors.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking multiple experienced Handyman from across Melbourne to join our field team and support a growing portfolio of reactive and scheduled maintenance works across multiple locations.

About the Role
n
In this role you will carry out a broad range of maintenance and repair works across client sites. The role covers everything from small repairs to fixture installations and removal work, depending on project requirements.
n
This is a reactive role, meaning jobs may be scheduled with short notice. You must be reliable, punctual, flexible, and comfortable travelling between sites to attend jobs on time.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Complete a wide range of maintenance and repair works across client sites
n
Install and repair fixtures, fittings and site infrastructure as instructed
n
Undertake reactive maintenance works and attend jobs scheduled at short notice
n
Read and interpret work orders, job scopes and site requirements accurately
n
Identify and report any hazards or site issues to the supervisor/service manager.
n




Follow set job schedules and manage time effectively to complete planned tasks within agreed timeframes.
n
Communicate job progress, variations or issues clearly with supervisors
n
Apply sound trade judgement to complete works efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
n
Represent APMG professionally when interacting with site staff at all times
n
Adhere to safety procedures, PPE requirements and site access rules
n

Required Skills and Experience
n
n
Proven experience in general maintenance, building maintenance or multi-trade roles
n
Strong hands-on skills across renovation, repair and installation works
n
Qualified Carpentry experience is an added advantage
n
Ability to manage varied tasks and adapt to changing job requirements
n
Comfortable working in a reactive environment with short-notice scheduling
n
Willingness to travel between multiple sites during the day
n
Working With Children Check (essential or willing to obtain)
n
Hold a valid police check (or willingness to obtain)
n
