The Role
n
We are seeking a Graduate Accountant to join our Tax Advisory team. Working closely with Directors, Managers and experienced Accountants, you will support the delivery of taxation, accounting and business advisory services to a diverse client base.
n
You will contribute to client engagements across tax compliance, financial reporting, bookkeeping and client administration activities while developing the technical and professional skills required to progress your accounting career.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate seeking professional mentoring, structured development and exposure to a broad range of client matters.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare tax returns, BAS, financial statements and other compliance requirements.
n
Perform bookkeeping, reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
n
Prepare client documentation, correspondence and compliance‐related paperwork.
n
Liaise with clients to obtain information and assist with accounting and taxation enquiries.
n
Support ATO lodgements, invoicing,



workflow management and client administration activities.
n
Maintain client records and ensure documents are accurately processed and filed.
n
Assist Directors, Managers and Accountants across client engagements and advisory projects.
n

About You
n
n
Completed a Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‐quality work.
n
Well‐developed organisational and time management skills.
n
Confident written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
n
An interest in developing a career in taxation, accounting and advisory services.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook); experience with Xero or other accounting software will be highly regarded.
n
A positive, team‐oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
n
Commenced or intending to commence CA or CPA studies (desirable).
