Job Description
Based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburb a dynamic and experienced Commercial Builder whose rapid growth has resulted in a demand for a Construction Estimator eager to join our and steadily growing Construction Team.

As an Estimator, you will be involved in the following:
n
Working in a team environment using our industry software
n
Experience with Cubit and Estimate One software is required.
n
Identifying which trades and suppliers are required per project.
n
Complete all Estimating requirements and must produce accurate documentation within budget timelines.
n
Cost management materials and trades throughout the construction process.
n
Attending meetings with Clients/Project Managers and Site staff while maintaining great relationships.
n
Identify potential risks/ issues at tender time.
n
Initial tender compilation analysis.
n
Knowledge of building practices and project sequencing.
n
To be successful in this role, the following skills are needed:
n




Qualifications in Building and Construction Management or Quantity Surveying studies, or similar.
n
3 years Minimum Estimating experience
n
Proficient in current software of Cubit, Microsoft, Excel and word
n
Produce trade cost analysis
n
Mathematical minded
n
Knowledge of construction types
n
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
n
Effective time management and attention to detail.
n
Practical industry or trade experience is essential.
n
Understanding of Construction Documentation plans, specifications and finishes schedules. .
n
Experience in tender process and trade procurement.
n
Take ownership and be open to feedback.
n
This is a full-time office-based role within a tight-knit workplace.
