About the Role
Are you looking to contribute to the community in ameaningful way?
Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and helpmaintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment forourtūroro (patients) and whānau (families).
You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays anessential part of maintaining Ashburton Hospital Facilities.
The team providesexceptional cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and nightshifts.
Starting rate $***** per hour, based on the E tū Service andFood Workers collective agreement.
You will be responsible for:
Completingall cleaning tasks to a high standard
Ensuredaily schedules and task lists are completed in set time frame
Workingalongside other cleaners to ensure that tasks are completed in a timelymanner
Matchingservice requirements to the clinical needs
Maintenanceof equipment and operated according to specifications
Utilisethe correct chemicals and dilutions
About You
We are looking for a reliable,



hardworking and flexiblecandidate who can bring their passion for cleaning to the Ashburton facility.
This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help makethe Hospital and hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.
There will also be the possibility to pick up extra hours.Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
Skills and Experience
Highlevel of patient confidentiality
Abilityto work independently and be self-motivated
Accuracyand attention to detail
Experienceas a cleaner, particularly within health is preferred but not essential.
