We currently have full-time and part time opportunities for talentedDog Groomer'sto join the Habitat team at our Port Melbourne location.
n
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for all aspects of managing our grooming studio, including customer service and managing customer bookings, maintaining the studio and grooming equipment – and, of course, ensuring our canine clients leave our store looking and feeling great!

Our ideal candidate for this role is...
n
Totally devoted to providing excellent customer service to our clients – both human and canine!
n
Confident working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages
n
Confident in animal handling, with the ability to handle a diverse range of dogs including various breeds, sizes and ages
n
Able to work independently and manage their own time
n
Experienced working with budgets and projected targets




n
An excellent communicator, with attention to detail
n
Willing to mentor junior groomers in their professional development
n
Focused on risk management and injury prevention, prioritising personal safety in your own practices, as well as the safety of animals in your care.
n
A positive person, with a can-do attitude, who has a genuine love for animals
n
A qualified groomer and/or has significant experience working as a groomer within a salon environment.
n
Our grooming studio has everything you need to get started. All you need to bring to this role is your own expertise and unique creative flair.
