At Randstad Defence, we're proud to be partnering with Electro Optic Systems (EOS)-a leading force in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced defence systems, who are currently seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join their Technical Communications team.

This is a permanent role based in either Canberra or Melbourne.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Draft, edit and write EOS Technical Communications to meet the required need. The suite of Technical Communications products will include (but are not limited to):
n
Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs)
n
Operator & Maintenance Manuals
n
Illustrated Parts Catalogues
n
Manufacturing Process Instructions
n
Draft and edit content to ASD S****D standards and format using the R4i Suite of software and publishing packages.
n
Assign activities based on workload and expertise within the team.
n




Engage with EOS engineering groups both locally and internationally to ensure requirements are identified and met.
n
Engage the Project and ILS Managers regarding their specific Technical Communication requirements
n

About You
n
n
Must be an Australian citizen
n
Minimum 5 -10 years experience in a similar role
n
Ability to work collaboratively across various teams
n
A solid attention to detail
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Disciplined across various defence processes
n
Solution oriented
n
n
Qualifications and Experience
n
n
A degree qualification in an applicable field of study
n
n
