We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our General Practice team at the UNE Life Healthcare Centre in Armidale.

About the role
n
You'll work closely with our GPs and admin team to support the delivery of high-quality primary care services. The role is focused on preventative health, chronic disease management, immunisations, wound care, and supporting clinical procedures in a general practice setting.
n
You'll need to be comfortable managing your own time, adapting to patient needs on the day, and contributing to the continued improvement of our services.
n
Remuneration will align with relevant experience and qualifications.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Support GP consults and assist with minor procedures
n
Manage recalls and reminders for chronic disease and preventative health
n
Provide immunisations (childhood, travel, flu, COVID)
n
Perform ECGs, spirometry, wound care, and health assessments
n
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
n
Engage with patients to deliver safe and compassionate care
n
Contribute to the implementation of clinical policies and quality improvement
n

What we're looking for (but limited to)
n
n
Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (unrestricted)
n




Strong background in general practice or community health
n
Applicants with any level of general practice or community health experience will be considered
n
Current CPR certification (ALS preferred but not essential)
n
Proficiency in clinical software (e.g., Best Practice or similar)
n
Training will be provided for clinical software systems
n
Confidence in handling immunisations and clinical procedures
n
Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
n
Must have Australian work authorisation at time of application
n
