The Position:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join a well-established professional services organisation based in Perth CBD on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
n
Working as part of a supportive finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounts payable activities, alongside supporting the organisation's fortnightly payroll function. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys a varied role, is highly organised and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
End-to-end Accounts Payable processing within a high-volume environment;
n
Invoice processing, coding and supplier reconciliations;
n
Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong internal relationships;
n
Processing supplier payments and credit card transactions;
n
Assisting with bank reconciliations and general finance administration;
n
Supporting the wider finance team with billing and month-end requirements;
n
Fortnightly payroll processing and associated administration;
n
Processing timesheets, deductions and superannuation;
n




Responding to payroll-related queries;
n
Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required.
n

Skills and Experience:
n
n
5+ years' experience in a similar finance position;
n
Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment;
n
Previous payroll processing experience highly regarded;
n
Experience within professional services is advantageous but not essential;
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
n
Strong organisational and time management skills;
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships;
n
Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute effectively within a team.
