1. About Hope Ability
Hope Ability is a registered NDIS service provider committed to supporting people with disability to achieve their goals, maintain their independence and live meaningful lives.
We provide a range of disability support services, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Respite, Community Access, employment support and purpose build accommodation across the Northern Territory.
2. About the Position
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Client Services Officer to join our team on a 6-month maternity leave contract with potential for ongoing opportunities depending on organisational requirements and performance.
,(with possible extension) commencing as soon as possible.
The Client Services Officer will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our services.
You will work closely with participants, families, support workers, service providers and management to ensure our clients receive high-quality, person-centred support.
This is a varied role that combines client service, administration, coordination and office support.
The successful applicant will be organised, professional, confident communicating with different stakeholders and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
3. Key Responsibilities
Act as a key point of contact for participants, families, support workers, service providers and other stakeholders by phone, email and in person.
Respond professionally and promptly to enquiries, requests, concerns and feedback.
Assist with the coordination of day-to-day disability support services and office operations.
Assist with participant intake, service coordination and maintaining accurate participant information.
Maintain participant records, care plans, service documentation and other relevant records.
Coordinate changes to services in consultation with relevant staff and management.
Communicate with support workers regarding shifts,



participant requirements, documentation and operational matters.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding and administration of support workers when required to create your own team.
Ensure staff and participant information is accurately maintained across relevant systems.
Assist with monitoring staff compliance, including required training, checks, certificates and other documentation.
Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
Liaise with families, support coordinators, plan managers, allied health professionals and other service providers.
Assist senior management with administrative tasks, projects and operational activities.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure all work is completed in accordance with organisational policies, NDIS requirements and relevant legislation.
4. About You

A genuine commitment to providing person-centred services to people with disability.
5. Essential Criteria
Minimum 2 years' experience in administration, client services, office support or a similar role.
Experience in the NDIS, disability, aged care, community services or healthcare sector is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to work effectively with management, support workers, participants, families and external service providers.
Australian working rights.
Ability to obtain and maintain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and NT Ochre Card.
Current Australian driver's licence.
Certificate IV Community Services or a relevant qualification is desirable.
