Jaisano Pty Ltd The Opportunity Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play an important role in the day to day operation of the kitchen.
n
The role will include:
n
n
Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
n
Leading and mentoring kitchen staff during service
n
Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
n
Assisting with menu development and seasonal specials
n
Managing food preparation, ordering and stock control
n
Ensuring food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are maintained
n
Working efficiently in a busy, high volume kitchen
n
Contributing to a positive and professional kitchen culture
n
n
Skills Required:
n
n
At least one year's experience as a chef in a medium sized hotel strong customer and staff focus and consistent high customer service standard
n
Good communication and leadership skills
n
Has experience working in a commercial kitchen
n
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
n
Experience supervising staff
n




Ability to manage stock and par levels within budget Demonstracted experience working in a fast paced environment
n
Is punctual and able to follow instructions
n
Enjoys working as part of a team
n
Maintains a clean and santised work area
n
Shares a passion for the hospitality industry
