About the role
n
As the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of site maintenance, facilities, and services, ensuring our manufacturing operations continue to run safely and efficiently.
n
You will lead a small maintenance team, manage contractors, oversee site reliability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support the long-term performance of our facilities and equipment.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
n
Lead and support the maintenance and facilities team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
n
Oversee site maintenance, building services, and equipment reliability.
n
Manage contractors and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard.
n
Respond to breakdowns and urgent issues to minimise disruption to production.
n
Manage maintenance budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX requirements.
n
Ensure compliance with WHS, safety systems, audits, and inspection requirements.
n
Plan and support maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.
n
Partner with internal teams to improve site performance and operational reliability.
n




Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support future site upgrades.
n

What we're looking for:
n
n
Experience managing maintenance and facilities within a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
n
Trade or technical background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
n
Strong leadership experience managing teams and contractors.
n
Understanding of WHS requirements, safety systems, and compliance standards.
n
Experience managing budgets and maintenance systems (CMMS).
n
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions.
n
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
n
Excellent communication skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
n
