Our growing accounting firm in the Blue Mountains is seeking a full time Intermediate Business Services / Tax Accountant to join our practice.

The RoleYou will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial and tax compliance work for a variety of clients including individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
Your duties will include:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Working with a range of entity structures including individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
Communicating with clients and the ATO when required
About YouThe successful candidate will have:




Minimum 2 years' experience in a business services / tax accounting role within public practice
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Experience using HandiLedger, Xero Practice Manager & Tax and Microsoft Office
Experience preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
