ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Yard Person to join our Mareeba team.
In this hands-on role, you'll help customers get the right building materials, provide helpful advice, and keep the yard running safely and smoothly.
You'll be someone who takes pride in keeping materials organised, accessible, and ready to go for customers.
You'll have access to ongoing training and opportunities to build your skills across different areas of the store.
Our store is open 7 days a week, this role may require weekend work on a rostered basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Receive, move, store and load stock safely in line with workplace health and safety practices
Pick, collate and load customer orders for delivery or collection
Keep the yard and work areas clean, safe and well organised
Monitor stock levels to help meet customer demand
Take part in regular product training with leading brands
Bring a reliable,

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Strong commitment to safety and duty of care for your team, customers and site visitors
Physically fit and able to safely lift and handle goods
Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Able to operate vehicles in line with your licences and skills
Medium Rigid (MR) licence desirable but not essential
Forklift licence (LF) essential
