$**** - $**** USD MonthlyAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant & Financial Controller to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing construction and real estate investment company.
We are a Custom Home Builder and Real Estate Investment Company located in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.Key Responsibilities:
Although we do allow for versatile work scheduling, job usually requires being available during EST standard working hours.Perform daily bookkeeping and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
This includes making sure all job costing and accounting synchronizes between project management software and quickbooks.
Reconciling transfers and equity balances across different sets of books.
Preparing Investor reports monthly.
Total of 10 sets of books.




Run payroll using Gusto or similar platformsMaintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal reportingGenerate and distribute financial reports as neededHandle **** filings and collect W-9s from contractors and vendorsManage accounts payable including invoice and bill paymentsTrack insurance compliance for subcontractors and vendorsPreferred Experience & Tools:Experience with the following tools is a plus but not required:Gusto (Payroll)JobTread (Construction project management)QuickBooks (Accounting software)Microsoft ExcelQualifications:5+ years of experience in a construction finance, accounting, or operations support roleStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independentlyExcellent organizational and communication skillsFamiliarity with bookkeeping, payroll, and contractor complianceExperience in or exposure to the construction industry is a plus
