Supported by experienced tradespeople and your dedicated Employment & Training Consultant, you'll receive the guidance and training needed to become a qualified plumber.
Benefits All TAFE and training fees paid for Earn money while learning a trade Obtain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Plumbing Dedicated Employment & Training Consultant supporting you throughout your apprenticeship Regular workplace visits and progress check-ins Mentoring from experienced tradespeople and supervisors PPE provided throughout the apprenticeship Potential travel opportunities with accommodation and applicable allowances provided when required Monthly rostered day off available Long-term career opportunities in a growing industry Duties May Include Installing and repairing roof plumbing systems Working with roofing iron and sheet metal products Handling and installing roofing sheets Installing roof battens and roofing components Measuring, cutting and shaping materials to specification Using tools such as tech screw guns, tin snips and other trade equipment Reading and interpreting plans and specifications Creating the layout of plumbing systems and required materials Assembling and installing piping,



fittings and plumbing components Testing plumbing installations and ensuring compliance with industry standards Working safely at heights and on roofing projects Maintaining a clean and safe worksite About You Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights Completed Year 10 or equivalent Interested in building a career in the plumbing and construction industry Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn Able to work as part of a team Driver's Licence desirable but not essential White Card advantageous but not essential About Us Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation that partners with some of Australia's leading employers to create outstanding apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.
