We are seeking part time and/or casual Dealers at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.
A great opportunity for an experienced dealer with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the highest standard of efficiency, security, and customer service when dealing.
Dealing a variety of table games within the guidelines of the approved gaming rules and procedures.
Major Games – Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Holdem, Pai Gow Poker.
Criteria
Experienced in dealing at least 1 (one) major game and minor games.
A passion to provide excellence in Customer Service to our patrons.
A high level of interpersonal, communication and observation skills.
A friendly and approachable demeanour.
A high standard of personal presentation and grooming.
Solid cash handling and mathematical skills.
Strong work ethic, with an attention to detail.
Flexibility with shift work arrangements and the ability to work weekends.
All Table Gaming employees are required to possess a current Queensland Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Attainment Certificate.




License Requirement
This position requires a Casino Employee Licence.
If you are not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia and over the age of 18 years, your application will not be considered for this role.
Appointment is contingent upon final license approval and individual security (probity) clearances from the Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
