A.B. Paterson College's Early Childhood Centre is seeking a passionate Graduate Early Childhood Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team in a permanent full-time position.
This role is primarily a Float Educator position, providing support across all rooms within the Centre and contributing to the delivery of high-quality education and care programs.
It offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate teacher to gain broad experience working with a variety of age groups, children, families and educators while building confidence and capability in professional practice.
Working across the service, you will contribute to engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, while developing your skills in educational programming, documentation and relationship building.
Whilst this is not an appointed Early Childhood Teacher position, applicants holding approved Early Childhood Teaching qualifications may be remunerated at the applicable Early Childhood Teacher rate, subject to qualification and role requirements.
The role also provides a strong foundation for professional growth, with potential opportunities for progression into future Early Childhood Teacher positions within the service.
This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts rostered between 7:00am and 6:00pm.

Hold, or are nearing completion of, an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or studying towards final year completion).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certifications.
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement).
Experience using Kindyhub and Xplor Playground software systems will be highly regarded.

Salary
Salary and classification are paid in accordance with the ECC Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
Applicants holding approved Early Childhood Teacher qualifications may be remunerated at the applicable Early Childhood Teacher rate, subject to qualification and role requirements.
