About Us
Calvary John James Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Intensive Care Unit in permanent full-time and part-time positions.
As an Surgical ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, effective and evidence-based care within a patient-focused setting.
You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support patients with complex clinical needs across our surgical and medical specialities.
These positions involve working a rotating roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.
You will be supported by an experienced team committed to clinical excellence, professional development and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to surgical ICU/HDU patientsAssess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised careRecognise and respond promptly to clinical deteriorationWork collaboratively with the multidisciplinary teamMaintain accurate documentation and clinical handover
What You Bring
Recent ICU or critical care nursing experienceAHPRA RegistrationDemonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital settingAbility to work unsupervised,



proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activityDemonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamDemonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skillsA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
