Team members are encouraged to contribute their technical skills and collaborate to deliver productive, cost-effective outcomes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Rigger role based in Wingfield, SA.
The Rigger will safely lift, move, and position structural steel, heavy equipment, and fabricated components using cranes, slings, chains, and other rigging gear.
Daily tasks include inspecting and setting up rigging, determining load weights, selecting appropriate lifting methods, and communicating clearly with crane operators and ground crews.
The role involves reading and interpreting lift plans and drawings, maintaining tools and equipment, and following all site safety procedures and regulations.
The Rigger will work closely with fabricators, welders, and supervisors to support installation,



assembly, and project completion on client sites and in the workshop.Qualifications Relevant rigging certifications and licenses (e.g., basic, intermediate, or advanced rigging) and demonstrated experience in industrial or construction environments.Strong understanding of load calculations, lifting techniques, and the safe use of cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, lift plans, and site instructions, with solid problem-solving and planning skills.Commitment to workplace health and safety, including adherence to procedures, use of PPE, and participation in risk assessments and toolbox meetings.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with supervisors, operators, and trades while working under time constraints.Physical capability to perform manual handling, work at heights, and operate in workshop and site environments in varying weather conditions.Current driver's license; high-risk work license, white card, and experience in structural steel or fabrication environments are highly regarded.
