The opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced
Industrial Electrician
to join our team.
Based out of our Adelaide workshop
, this is a hands-on role supporting our fleet of raisebore drill rigs and associated equipment across Australia.
You'll enjoy the stability of being part of an established South Australian operation, combined with the variety of travelling to mining sites around the country.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing electrical, mechanical and maintenance support at our
Adelaide workshop and mine sites nationwide
· Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on raisebore rigs and associated equipment
· Assisting with the commissioning, setup and demobilisation of rigs and equipment
· Supporting preventative and breakdown maintenance activities




· Working closely with operations and frontline crews to keep our equipment operating safely and reliably
· Sharing your technical knowledge and assisting with the development of team members onsite
About you
We're looking for a capable, practical electrician who enjoys fault finding, working with heavy industrial equipment and taking ownership of problems.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
· A
current unrestricted Electrical Licence
· Extensive experience as an Industrial Electrician
· Strong knowledge and practical experience with
PLCs
· Demonstrated knowledge of
DC drives and soft starters
· Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
· Experience with
Atlas Copco and Sandvik raisebore drill rigs
highly regarded
· Previous mining, heavy industry or FIFO experience highly regarded
· The ability and willingness to travel nationally and work in remote mining environments
· Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
· The ability to work independently, take initiative and stay well organised
· A safety-focused, solutions-driven mindset and willingness to take on new challenges
