About the roleJMG Heavy Auto Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of a range of heavy commercial vehicles and machinery.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair issues with heavy diesel engines, transmissions, diff, and other components
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipment
Perform electrical repairs and diagnostics
Use specialized tools and equipment to effectively complete repairs
Maintain detailed records of work completed
Ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or a related automotive trade
Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle qualification is required
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the commercial vehicle or construction equipment industry
Robust diagnostic and troubleshooting skills




Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety
HR license recommended
