Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer / Civil Estimator to join our Estimating team.
This combined role offers the opportunity to support the estimating and procurement requirements of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects valued between $500K and $10 million.
The successful candidate will prepare accurate estimates, coordinate the procurement of materials and subcontractor services, and contribute to successful tender submissions and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Estimating team to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimatesComplete quantity take-offs, requests for quotes and tender submissionsSource, assess and negotiate quotes from subcontractors and suppliersIncorporate labour, resources, productivity, materials and subcontractor costs into estimatesQuantify and procure inground service materials, including water, sewer, drainage, gas, power and NBNCoordinate the timely delivery of materials to project sitesSupport the Ingrounds Superintendent with procurement and forecasting for current and upcoming projectsLiaise with Project Managers, construction teams,
