About the RoleYou'll sit within the supply chain team and look after the day-to-day buying activity for site and project operations.
Typical duties include:Raising and managing purchase orders end to endSourcing quotes and comparing suppliers on price, lead time and availabilityWorking with site and maintenance teams to understand what they need and whenFollowing up suppliers on deliveries and sorting out issues when things run lateKeeping supplier and pricing data accurate in the systemSupporting the wider team with contract renewals and preferred supplier agreementsMaking sure buying activity follows company procedures and delegation limits




What we're looking forPrevious experience in a procurement, purchasing or buying roleBackground in mining, resources, construction, energy or a related industrial sectorConfident using an ERP system.
Pronto, SAP, Ellipse, JDE or similarGood with Excel and comfortable working through dataStrong communicator who can chase things up without annoying peopleOrganised and able to juggle a lot of open orders at onceFull working rights in Australia
