About the RoleReporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing and maintaining fire protection and safety systems across customer sites in Perth and surrounding areas.
You'll be trusted to manage your time, plan your work effectively and deliver reliable service outcomes while maintaining solid customer relationships.
What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Inspecting, testing and servicing fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
Identifying system issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
Surveying customer sites and providing advice on fire protection and safety equipment.
Completing accurate service records using field service technology.
Delivering a professional and positive customer experience.
Planning your workload and routes to maximise efficiency.
Managing tools, equipment, vehicle, stock and company assets responsibly.
Supporting inventory management and stocktake activities.
Promoting Chubb products and services where appropriate.
Working in line with Australian Standards, company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance and ethical conduct.
What we're looking forWe're looking for someone who is technically capable, reliable and comfortable working independently in the field.
You'll enjoy dealing with customers, take pride in your work and bring a proactive approach to service delivery.
To be Successful, You will Bring:




Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Electrical Technician or Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, ideally within fire protection or fixed systems.
Sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards, or the ability to quickly interpret and apply them.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong time management and workload planning ability.
Confident working autonomously and making sound decisions on site.
Ability to complete accurate service documentation and reports.
Essential Licences and AccreditationsYou will need:
Current Electrical Licence
Current Driver's Licence
ACA Accreditation
Blue Card / Generic Site Induction
Highly Regarded
The following will be viewed favourably:
Trade certificate in Fire Protection, Electrical or a related trade.
FPAS accreditation in fire protection.
Experience working with fixed systems fire protection equipment.
Previous field service experience in a customer-facing environment.
