These are permanent full-time positions based at Robertson Barracks, Northern Territory.

Coordinate contractor activities supporting TAR operations, including land management, housekeeping, cleaning, waste management, and estate upkeep.
Plan, deploy, test, and recover live fire target equipment in consultation with Defence user units.
Open and close danger area gates and flags in accordance with approved live firing schedules.
Build, repair,
and maintain target equipment while managing consumable stock levels.
Conduct inspections, audits, surveys, and compliance activities as required under contract obligations.
Maintain training areas and facilities to ensure operational readiness and fitness for use.
Operate, or quickly develop proficiency in, a range of target systems and associated equipment.
Manage inventory, stock control, and storage requirements.
Safely operate chainsaws and perform minor infrastructure repairs and maintenance.
Operate vehicles in challenging off-road environments and undertake vehicle recovery activities.
Participate in deployments to Defence training and operational locations, including extended periods away from home.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience in planning, placing, testing and recovering range live fire target equipment would be highly desirable.
Ability to operate and maintain various target systems such as DART, MTR, and SMR.
Experience in inventory control, stock management, and storage maintenance.
Range Officer Accreditation or relevant safety training would be highly regarded but not essential.
Previous experience in the ADF or Defence industry would be highly regarded.
This role also requires deployment up to 14 days, dependant on Defence requirements.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
