About the opportunity
Due to continued growth across our operations, we're seeking experienced Boilermaker/Coded Welders to join our team in Tom Price, WA.

• Phase III Remediation Project - Iron Ore in the WA Pilbara
• 2:1 FIFO Roster with accommodation and meals provided
• $74 - $76 per hour base rate + travel allowance
• Project expected to continue through to **** – longevity for reliable performers
• 12-hour rotating shifts

About you
You're a safety-minded, team-focused tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and contributing to a strong site culture.
You'll bring:
Ability to pass fillet and butt weld tests in all positions using Flux Core and MMAW
Trade certified with mine site experience in fixed plant or mobile equipment, and experience in boilermaking/fabrication workshops.
Must have experience repairing heavy mobile equipment, bucket repairs, tray relines, boom/stick crack repairs.
Experience with welding codes preferred, all work to X-ray standards
Experience reading piping isometric drawings and identifying test limits
Strong understanding of calibration, traceability, and accurate test reporting
Experience in a NATA accredited facility highly regarded
Full Australian work rights – passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, or valid work visa
Hold the following Nationally Accredited Qualifications:
Trade Certificate 3 in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
Construction Induction Card (White Card) - Must be current and valid
Photo ID
Statement of Attainment MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres (within the last 36 months)
Statement of Attainment - RIIWHS202E - Enter and Work in Confined Space Entry (within the last 36 months)
Statement of Attainment - RIIWSH204E - Work Safely at heights (within the last 36 months)
Statement of Attainment - CPPFES**** - Demonstrate Fire Attack (within the last 48 months)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening – this is site standard
Genuine commitment to safety – you follows procedures, wear your PPE properly, and speak up when something doesn't look right
Strong attention to detail – you understands surface prep standards, DFT requirements, and the importance of doing it right the first time
Team player who backs up your crew, communicates well, and helps maintain a positive site culture
Pride in your work – you take ownership of quality finishes and understand your coatings protect critical assets for years
