Our clients is a WA-owned and operated construction company with an established track record delivering projects across Government, Defence and commercial construction is looking for an experienced
HSE Advisor
to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team, with a solid focus on safety, quality and cultural awareness.
The successful candidate will provide HSE support across a number of Defence projects, working across various Defence facilities across Perth.
The Role:
Provide HSE support across multiple Defence construction sites
Conduct regular site visits, inspections and audits
Assist with maintaining and implementing HSE systems, processes and documentation
Work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and site teams
Provide practical advice and guidance on health, safety and environmental requirements
Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
Promote a positive safety culture across all projects
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures

Key Requirements:
Previous experience in an HSE / WHS role within the
commercial construction industry
Experience working across construction sites and providing practical HSE support
Robust understanding of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
Relevant HSE qualifications
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work autonomously and travel between multiple sites
Defence or Government construction experience would be highly regarded
Must be an Australian Citizen due to the nature of the projects
